Lacoste is a beautiful mare who won the BWP free jump contest in Evergem as youngster. With Zambesi, Ramiro and Zeus in her studbook paper, she has strong sires as ancestors.
Lacoste descends also from a strong damline. She is the 3/4 sister of Dejavu (Heartbreaker), one of the three horses that jumped the Olympic Games finals in Rio de Janeiro 2016 for Qatar. With rider Bassem Mohammed Hassan he placed fourth in the Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Antwerp and Paris. With Gert-Jan Bruggink and with the sponsorname Primeval Dejavu (born as Ensor van de Bucxtale), he won the 2013 Dutch Championship in Mierlo. He jumped clear in the Grand Prix of Rotterdam with just one rein. He won the Frankfurt Grand Prix, Hannover Grand Prix, Gijon Nations Cup, 2nd place Dublin Nations Cup, 2nd place Grand Prix Amsterdam, 3rd place Grand Prix Maastricht, 4th place Grand Prix München, 5th Valkenswaard Global Champions Tour Grand Prix. He has been one of the best horses of the world for many years.
Lacoste is not only the sister of Dejavu, but also of Charmeur van het Kloosterhof. The CSI2* level Grand Prix horse of Jan Claeys. Charmeur won a.o. a 1m45 class with 145 participants during Knokke Hippique 2016 and placed 3rd and 8th in the Grand Prix classes at Knokke. Also the international eventing horse Caloa van het Kloosterhof (Karin Donckers) has the same Ramiro dam.
